How our service works

  1. Tell us the trip

Passport, flight, resort and anyone travelling with you. One short form, filled in once.

  2. We review and file

Names and passport numbers against the document, dates inside the window, customs and health answers checked before we submit.

  3. You get the QR

Your confirmation lands by email. Save it offline and show it at immigration when you land in Punta Cana or Santo Domingo.

Written for the specifics, not the generalities

Most e-Ticket pages tell you what the form is. These guides answer the questions that actually come up once you are booking a real trip.

What the Dominican e-Ticket is

The e-Ticket is the Dominican Republic's electronic entry and exit ticket, run by the Dirección General de Migración. It replaced the paper cards travellers used to complete on the plane, and it folds three separate declarations — immigration, customs and public health — into a single online submission that returns a QR code.

Who needs it

Every traveller, of any nationality, arriving in and departing from the country, by air or by sea. A return trip needs the form for both directions, and each traveller is covered — a family can travel on one submission.

When to file it

The guidance is to complete it within the 72 hours before travel, and before you reach the airport. Filing far ahead is risky: if your flight changes, the details you declared no longer match your boarding pass. The window is counted against your arrival in the Dominican Republic, not your departure from home — which is where travellers connecting through Miami or Panama slip up.

What we do

The form is free on the official portal, and you can complete it yourself. We are an independent agency; our fee covers the work around it — checking your details against your passport, filing inside the window, and staying reachable if something needs fixing. The official portal is linked at the foot of every page here.

Quick answers

Is the e-Ticket mandatory?

Yes, for every traveller entering and leaving the Dominican Republic, whatever your nationality and whether you arrive by air or by sea.

What does it cost?

Nothing on the official DGM portal. Our fee is for optional assistance, and we say so on every page.

When should I complete it?

Within the 72 hours before travel, before you get to the airport. The window is measured against your arrival in the Dominican Republic.

Do I still fill in a card on the plane?

No. The e-Ticket replaced the paper immigration, customs and health cards, folding all three into one online form.

Do I need one to leave as well?

Yes. Departure has its own e-Ticket, and it is the step travellers most often forget when planning the trip home.

Can my family travel on one form?

Yes. You can add the people travelling with you as one group in a single submission.

Is the e-Ticket a visa?

No. It records information. Entry is granted separately by the immigration officer, based on your passport and onward ticket.

Which flight do I declare with a layover?

The flight that actually enters the Dominican Republic — not your connection through Miami, Panama or Madrid.
